The jury is out on this "relaxing spot" close to the ocean and shops, where the "spirit of the [former] Holiday Inn from the '60s" comes through in the "tired" decor; opinions vary over rooms – "lovely" with "fantastic" beds or "cramped" and "loud" – and over the staff – "prompt, friendly and accommodating" or "requiring training"; N.B. for the best stay, try to get quarters with a Pacific Ocean view.

It was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is dated from the outside but the inside has been updated. The rooms are comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Great hotel and service. My only complaint is that my reservation was a queen. A king seems like 'worst case' for a hotel of this rate.

The public spaces were actually nice, not great. Staff was cordial.
More soap! why pretend you have self -park? we can handle an honest valet only fee.
Small rooms w/nice bedding and TV. needs to upgrade bathroom amenities. Public spaces are nice and inviting. The lobby bar can be recommended for satisfying cocktails.
